Hogs for the Cause ("Hogs") is a New Orleans-based non-profit that provides financial assistance to families across the country with children undergoing treatment for brain cancer. In addition to focusing on pediatric brain cancer, Hogs forms strategic partnerships with hospitals nationwide to aid families with children diagnosed with ailments other than brain cancer. Hogs currently operates as one of the premier sources of funding for pediatric brain cancer outreach services.
In February of 2024, the 2nd 'Hogs House' opened its doors at the Our Lady of the Lake Children's Hospital. The Hog's House provides expense-free housing for families with a child receiving ongoing healthcare treatment at OLOL Children's Hospital. The BR Hogs House has already hosted over 100 families since opening and is consistently at capacity! Because we are a Baton Rouge based team, funds raised by Bark & Bite BBQ directly impact our community.
